Allen Iverson

This guy had an amazing night against the Lakers, but they still absorbed his 48 minute, 51 point, 8 assist performance like a mop. They really put him on ice in the 4th quarter. Nonetheless, he shot
.667, not bad for a 6' 32 year old guard. Most points by a nugget player since 1995.

Bottom line:
They lost.
He managed to shoot .667 last night, but usually he's 12 for 36...
He's an overrated thug.

Bryan's right. He's the Isiah of the time, a punk who majored in finger painting at Georgetown. If it weren't for basketball he'd be carjacking your mothers car or stickin' a knife in your ribs.:eek::smash: Practice..we talkin' bout practice. Practice? we talkin' bout practice?..............

He grew up a thug and is still a thug as far as I am concerned. Cannot stand the guy.

A.I. can kiss my A.S.S.

The Dad Fisherman 12-06-2007 12:12 PM

He's not even in the Top 5 on HIS OWN TEAM in field goal percentage

Pauly P. nor Ray Allen are in the top 7 on THEIR OWN TEAM in field goal percentage either. So tell me, what conclusions should follow?

I'm not the one posting how great somebody is....Did I mention either one of those guys and say they are great...nope....I'm just pointing out that I can't stand Allen Iverson because you brought it up :hee:

Well if you stick to the literal reading of the stimulus, I did not say Iverson was GREAT. I am merely referring to his performance, not character, in 48 minutes of one game against the Lakers and said performance's relevance to the history of Denver nuggets' player scoring. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are GREAT vetaran players. Now we can operationalize "great" to suit your opinion all day, but lets stick to written script, not unstated implications.

Thats fine.
who won the game.
end of story.
