Anyone else up for a westerly run tonite?
 

I'll be heading for Westerly tonite,with a friend of mine, and was wondering if anyone else was up for some pm surf fishing??

I'd go with you but I want to spends some time with my son (and then watch the Sopranos :D )... I was down Weekapaug last night and got a couple bumps & one 26# fish on eels. I only fished for 2 hours last night as I was pretty tired from moving all weekend. The other bumps were good solid hits too so there are some decent fish out there.

Go see Don @ Weekapaug, get some eels. I'm willing to bet that just about everything from the Weeky Breachway over to the Fire District Beach has fish but that's also some tough territory to fish and you need to be extra careful until you are used to it.

There was a lot of mung like weed last night that shortened the casts when not cleaned out of the guides, just to forewarn.

Oh yeh, and the moon is BRIGHT....
