Wow 333.76!!! |
WOW:eyes::eyes::eyes: Elapse Time 9 seconds and it's more then half way.
May I know why a diamond carbide is use? Could a slightly more round over head produce a smoother finish? Maybe even a router connected there. But I'm a noob with this CNC stuff or lathe turning for that matter lol. |
Some interesting toys. I'm still in the stone age....

Dang no more disclosures?:err::err:
This CNC stuff fascinates me. But damn*#&$#^ TIME and $$. I had some chance to play with my friend's hobby CNC (4 axis). SolidWorks drawing. MasterCam cutting. 216 hrs later we got a lure body :huh: Could've hand carve the lure body in 15 minutes LOL. But the potential is really there for production. Make me drool some more please :D |
Jeez I was just starting to feel like I was on vacation and then I looked at these pictures.;) Looks good. Enjoy
|
:jump: sheer porn there :bounce::bounce::bounce:
I like beefy machines. I was complaining about my friend's hobby CNC lol, a bit flimsy the way he built it, that introduces some inaccuracy from chatter. Slight but u do expect a lot from CNC LOL |
My nephew bought one of those little CNC milling machines. I told him to find an old used Bridgeport but he didn't listen. Thing cost about as much as a used Bridgeport and probably only good for plastic or wood or maybe thin Aluminum.

Green button go red button stop!!:bc:Must be the programer always his fault.Maybe you can put in a limit switch so she won't overtravel to far:cputin:

Also could of had something left over in the buffer.

As Paul said you may have gotten off easy with $500. Probably double that if you wacked anything else out (bearings, etc.).
I feel bad for ya Salty ..... I know you would of rather of spent that $500 on Christmas presents for the kids instead of throwing it out the window on stupid 'computer gremlins'. |
