ok i need to get out

where do i go? i come home from school in a few days after doing some :read::read::read::read::read: all week and just need to see some ocean.... anything still biting from the surf this time of the year in the cape or rhody waters? its weird, im used to skiing this time of the year, not fishing. but i just realllyyyyy need to get out there. so if anyone has some valuable info of where to catch anything it would be of serious help. time to go look for my 5 mm gloves :grins:
thanks
mike

There's always ice fishing, although it isn't as active as surfcasting.
I've already been out 3 times this month and gotten enough fish to keep it interesting.

i still have my ice fishing stuff just wait for another inch or so of ice to form where i usually go :)

Gun,
You need to go to northern New York state - Pulaski. Get your fix with steelhead. Probably the most challenging winter fishing available. Pick a few days - make sure it won't be in the single digits temp wise - and take a trip.

My brother has fished there with great success in the past but it seem like it was always crowded. You appear to be almost alone?

My favorite Eagles song is "In the city".I'm talking about downtown,Providence.Get in touch two or three days before you wanna fish it.Dress warm, waders and drytop are preferred,as I have an extra kayak, however,it's almost as good from shore, where no wet weather gear will be needed.Lemmee know.
