need some help!

hello fellow surfcasters! quick question here.

i have reccently picked up the new aquaskinz wading belt for safety and to hold all of my tools and accesories. but i soon discovered that my Van Staal plier's sheath does not fit through the belt buckle nor the 2 inch strap when i took the buckle off. this really frustrates me that a company like aquaskinz would make this kind of mistake....or maybe it is my mistake and i just cant figure this out?

now is there something i am doing wrong? is there a way to get the VS sheath onto the belt? what are some of my other options? what do you guys do and how do you attatch your pliers to your wading belts?

thanks for all the help.

hye

I've got the belt and same pliers= same problem

so what did you do about it?

Open up the velcro and try putting it through that way (instead of through the buckle)....if sheath is still too small, cut the leather a bit.
The sheath will be only through half of the strap, but it will lock it ino place.

which pliers do you have? i have 7" and they do fit on that belt....

2" belt is a 2" belt...

Your sheath wasn't made for a 2" belt...

What you need to do is buy the right belt for the sheath or get a new sheath for a 2" belt...

Another alternative...

Use a large s/s carabiner to add the sheath. You can also attach other things too! :)

Last time I checked Aquaskinz and VanStaal were different companies. They dont need to be compatible...
