Who Cares What The Line Is?!?!?!
 

I start a thread about predictions on the Pats/Jags game for example.....looking for score predictions and who will win and who will lose.....and some of you guys mention "the line".....or if they will "cover"! Now I am not into betting on games so I could care less about it but you guys who do mention it....you got money on the game??? If not then what is the difference??? I just want to win!!!:huh:

I don't mind the discussion of "the line" or if the teams will "cover" of not....just curious what is the point in mentioning it at all if you are not betting the game??? Just an innocent, curious question?

Sometimes I have money on the game. Sometimes I don't. It all depends on the spread. What is it going to be next week?

Most non-bettors, may or may not, use Vegas' Line to help with possible point differentials when trying to prognosticate their final score for a particular game.

For me, not so much! It's more of a "feel" thing that I employ, and a point of reference for others. Rarely, will I use the spread to confirm what my instincts and eyes tell me ~as 'the latest line' can serve to confuse.

No more CARDS for me either. Although, I do like the Squares/Pools :wiggle: :wiggle:.
