I knocked these out yesterday. I didn't use a lathe, but I used a jig saw, a drill, and a rasp. I'm going to epoxy today.
They are weighted, and will get 2/0 trebles, the VMC 4x kind.

I like darters, they are my best producers, but I lose many whenthe toothy critters are out and about. These are about 5"s each, and are equivalent to the weight of Gibbs or SS larger darters.
I have made more of my own I'm going to use this year, so far about 22 plugs.
Next I'm going to make some jointed kinds, not sure yet if the tail piece will be hard or some type of soft plastic tail. We'll see

Nice workmanship

Ambitious taking on darters without a lathe, bandsaw, belt sander, and two thousand different jigs. Sometimes we get spoiled and forget what it is all about. Cool stuff, thanks for showing it.
