i have a piece of tempored glass but i don't

know how to cut it unless, i were to use a diamond blade
tile saw... NEBE? anyone ever cut tempored glass before?

hell i would have thrown a metal cutting blade
into my old worm drive skil saw and just cut
(fabricated) a piece but for $15.00 bucks

i was
able to go and grab a 1/4 inch thick steel
replacement piece and i just lit the stove.

now i'm having a beer ...i WIN :cheers2:

It Ain't pretty i know....but it'll work for now and we had already decided to replace this woodstove anyways :wave:
next i'll buy some high temp stove black paint

Who cares about seeing the fire anyways. The steel plate will probably transfer more heat to the house than the glass ever did.

once we purchase the outdoor heating unit
that'll heat all the buildings
that stove will be yanked and utilized elsewhere...

Are you getting one of those outdoor wood burning furnaces?

but they are being modified to have less emissions


with new EPA standards so we are waiting for those changes first.
