Do not call list
I got an email from a friend letting me know that 12 days from today cell phone numbers will given out to telemarketing companies allowing them to call cells, thus costing you minutes/$$$
The email included a phone number to call keeping your number from being given out. I called it and it appears to be legit! Anyone else know of this This is the number I was given and called. 888 382-1222 |

This is from the FTC.gov site on the donotcall registry.
************************************************** ************ You may have received an email telling you that your cell phone is about to be assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number database; however, that is not the case. Federal Communications Commission regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. |
