Surfcasting with lures and spinning.
What is the difference ?
In Italy we call surfcasting the fishing with baits(worm etc..) and live baits in seastorming conditions.
The Spinning is only the fishing with lures or plugs.

????

Here we consider "spinning" the use of spinning tackle, as we also fish with lures on conventional tackle.

Over here, surf casting means ONLY fishing with plugs or lures, we call fishing with sinkers, bait, and beer "bottom fishing" and fishing with live eels "cheating".;)

I wouldn't agree, plenty of people call bait fishing surfcasting.

Surfcasting is simply casting from the surf. What you throw is up to you...

Yep, what you throw is irrelevant as long as your two (2) feet are on the ground. Just my .02
