PlugFest info

Woodbuster and I would like to arrive late Friday afternoon, early evening. We will need lodging in the surrounding area. I am also really looking forward to a nice fried clam dinner. :humpty:
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Is anyone else arriving early?

Couple of places in the Middleboro area, right off of 495.. Days Inn, Fairfield Inn. If you do stay at either give me a call I live 2 miles away from both we can get a beer maybe.

Wana get some clams. Sorry Frank snuck out again. Maybe someone else can help out there as far as bivalves go.

Five replies and only one guy helps me out! :spin:

Paul; The Day's Inn at exit 4 on 495 looks pretty good! How far from exit 2 (rt 58) is that?
I'll contact Woodbuster and see what he says.
Hey Lou what do you think?

VB; Didn't I give you a plug at PlugBash in October?

Bill, I will be up at my wife's Cape-house with the fam that weekend, Austin and I are going to attend on Saturday. Carver is only about 30 minutes from Cape Cod; you want fried clams, I can point you guys in a thousand directions...

A few suggestions as close to the canal as possible would be nice. The plymouth area would be even better. Thanks.
I know my way around the canal, just north to Marshfield and east to the Cape. I'm not familiar with Carver, Middleborough??

2 exits Bill, maybe 10 min. max to Rt. 58. Plymouth area should have some lodging too. I am not sure how far off 495 this place is, never been there, so Plymouth lodging may be a little further away. Plymouth, Carver, Middleborough all a stones throw away from each other. Exit 58 about 10 min. from canal. Hope this helps.

For fried clams the Lobster Hut on Plymouth Harbor is great, it is right next to the boat ramp. Not waitress service though you order pick up sit down and pig out. Its right on the harobr with a nice view. Good Bar next door too.
