abu 6501 TCS

ABU 6501CS

Shimano Calcutta TE401

Shimano Calcutta Conquest TE401

in that order...

If money isn't a problem and you want a reel thats easy to adjust from 1oz to 5oz check out the conquest...

I regret selling mine but i needed the $$...
I own the other 2 and the TE gets more use... the abu got used but i like the cast button on the shimano much more...

Abu 6501CTS - balances perfectly. Spool up with sufix 40 lb and a long shock leader --- :kewl:

Thanks for the input......I plan on checking out the 6501CTS....Just curious, twhats the difference with the CTS and the CS? I am not too familiar with Abu reels.

Thanks

check out the diawa luna also

similar to the calcutta but you don't have to get the te version to get a lefty

Clogston - How's the diawa hold up to the salt?

only had it for a year, but it held up well. i don't use conventional tackle in abusive conditions, mostly when I know I'll be staying dry.
