Damn Lady Bugs?!?!?

I am killing 4-5 of these a day??? Since the Fall when they settled in for the winter??? Anyone else still finding them in the house??

BigBo 02-14-2008 01:19 AM

Yup. My grandson likes to catch them and yank their wings off. My very own exterminator.:rotf2:

Raider Ronnie 02-14-2008 06:16 AM

Raven 02-14-2008 06:51 AM

i relocate them back to the house plant section....

but if they continually return to my computer area

i send them outside.

ProfessorM 02-14-2008 08:46 AM

I won't kill em. Bad luck.:(

EarnedStripes44 02-14-2008 09:20 AM

they are high in protein

zimmy 02-14-2008 09:31 AM

one of the most usefull insects to have around if you have a garden or fruit trees. People pay to get em. I hear if you kill them your teeth will fall out, but that could be superstition, I don't know.

Gives my Cat something to eat while I'm out

pmueller 02-14-2008 12:43 PM

Funny, it always seems this time of year they come out. Not sure why.

BigFish 02-14-2008 12:51 PM

Been killing them just about everyday all winter long!!!:af: Septic tank is full of them!

ProfessorM 02-15-2008 03:52 PM

I have one that has been pretty active for the last few days. I named him Larry.

jim sylvester 02-15-2008 04:03 PM

Raven 02-15-2008 04:34 PM

i'm wondering

if there is a huge amount of dandelions around larry's house.
