Tried something new learned at plugfest
 

Thought I would try out the dipping process, It came out kinda cool, it's different that's for sure.

You didnt waste anytime!!!! I didnt unpack my truck until nonntime yesterday.... and that was only after reassembeling my shop, which looked like the Gazza strip...

its a fun way to paint...I like the brite colors best...orange/yellow...some times a light blue and a darker blue look good...the colors will jump out with epoxy...nice plug

orlando and the guy who won best new builder had some excellent dipped paint jobs and they said they used cans....I got to try that,:cheers: may be a great way to lay down a colored base coat/then a couple drops/swirl and dip

Orlando & Wahlie are awesome, I can attest to that & orlando is quite the artist, Great meeting them both.

Be careful, the marbelizing can be addicting. When I first tried it and show it to Orlando, he wanted to dip everything in my garage into a bucket of water.

yeah, this is fun, now, I just gotta prime and dip a few more, I'm liking the color selection I'm finding in the testors paint.

Here is my first try at my newly learned talent. Actually did this 5 minutes after I got home from Plugfest couldn't wait. So easy even my wife could do it.

That second plug looks more like Woodstock style...Ya, lots of you guys only heard about that:rotf3: Like the colors..post after epoxy...should be real sweet.

Nice, it's a very easy technique to get the hang of and then you can add your own little experiments into the mix. That's how I found out that spray cans work better then the testors bottles if you don't want the plug to get too heavy of a marbelized coating.

Dr fish I am thinking of palying a little Jefferson Airplane, Joplin or Hendrix while I epoxy to see if I can bring back any memories from then. I'll post picts when done.

Love dip marbleizing, well, Shannon does, she is the one with the art degree, here are a coupe of chunky poppers she made. They really do explode once you put the final epoxy on.
