I would go to Cuttyhunk first....
 
The block has never been good to me. It's easier walking then the hunk though. To bad I wasn't there 20 years ago on the south side....

Easier driving too ;)

Block has been pretty good but what sometimes happens is that the mainland is on fire and it cools down periodically. Tough to be on the Island when South County goes balistic... But Block is as good if not better on average.
