I'm using a brass lip with a stainless thru wire .. Do I have to worry about maybe the brass breaking down .. ? This is on my skin plug ... I'm making the lips and I have the brass and its easy to work with ..

I don't think we will live long enough for it to make a differance. It won't be in the water long enough. I have used brass screws on SS lips and don't notice any electrolysis.

I think you better put some small zinc plates on it....:hihi:

I think you are fine as long as you don't hook power to it.

funny but it is a option.
Owner makes zinc strips for hooks.I keep saying I'm gonna get em as every hook on the market rust out before I can blink.I have seen em work.
I'm pretty sure cablea's has em.Put em on the hooks of u plug it should work.

You should be good. Use the brass lip and stainless through wire with coinfidence.

I wouldn't worry about it, if it takes a year in salt water to disintegrate a large zinc on an 8ft brass propeller shaft

your lips should hold up pretty good, and you wouldn't have to worry about reverse polarization either. :doh: :D

This could really get bad ,.. just asked wife what that was . Word of that gets out I'll be kicked out of Trolls .

We have a guy from Brazil at work, He's proud of it and keeps saying "I'm Brazilian!" I asked if he knew what that meant in this country. Geeze, when he found out what I meant, I had to watch out for him. He was peezed off.
