Friggan work is making me take it and I hate it.....every Tuesday morning for 12 weeks.:wall: Only week 4 and I can't take anymore of this "Van down by the River" crap. WTF, I'm in IT, what the hell does it matter that I can't get Touchy Feely with a Customer, I'm supposed to be Rude, Crude and Demeaning....that what IT does.

8 weeks and counting :wall:

Raven 02-26-2008 08:16 AM

My father took that course a gazillion years ago now. He's been gone four eyars and was 78. I think he took the course in his twenties.

You're company must be doing well, that's usually when you see all the bs better yourself classes come along.

You can get lots of brownie points (and since in your in the weight loss contest, I want you to have lots of brownies :devil2: )

say "all questions have value" the HR bobbleheads luv that stuff.

Oh well, at least it breaks up the daily grind, even though you're now further behind because of this class and that added stress can't help customer relations ..... I got it, sign up for a time management class. :laugha:

PaulS 02-26-2008 02:40 PM

I'm not getting a warm, fuzzy feeling about you right now. :laugha:

Then you job goes halfway around the world.

The Dad Fisherman 02-26-2008 03:25 PM

I don't want them to tremble.....I just want them to think.

pmueller 02-26-2008 03:34 PM

striperman36 02-26-2008 03:39 PM

You mean that snot a coffee cup holder on the side of my laptop?

Or the I can't see the screen, it's still dark. Did you open the laptop? Uh, no.
Or I can't get to the internet. I can boot my machine but the battery is almost empty. We have a power failure, I'm calling you on my cellphone

That kinda stuff?

The Dad Fisherman 02-26-2008 03:54 PM

Thats part of it.....or how about when they ask a question and I walk over to there desk and look it up in the help screen....that they don't want to use

Fishpart 02-26-2008 04:04 PM

Just think how much better you can get along with your wife after the training is complete....

striperman36 02-26-2008 04:04 PM

Uh oh. the old F1 issue.
Wish you could hit that remotely.

Take their machine away for a week while you 'fix' it.

Oh,

so what the heck do you need to go to that for? :D

JohnR 02-26-2008 08:39 PM

I took that 20 years ago and hated it while I took it, used some of the lessons afterwards, enjoyed it and now wish a company would pay for me to go again....

Looks great on the resume too...
