Jointeds.. Needle and Eel

These are both projects that I started last winter but finally revisited this winter.

The jointed needle I finally got to swim right and cast. The body of the needle is 9 3/4 in long and fully rigged weighs 4oz. Total about 15in.

The jointed eel will also cast and has a great swimming action and dives to about 3 ft. The body is just over 10 in long and fully rigged weighs 3oz. Total about 16in.

Thanks guys,,,,, The color is a pearl olive with a light gold belly,,,,

Pearl olive was my most productive color on the needles and whips (devo heads to some) last year,,,,,

what lip are you using.I am building some stuff for freshwater and looking for a narrow lip that would fit across a needle or very small swimmer

Lefty 2 mid slot. The mid slot gave me better casting and took longer to make it swim right than the high slot,,,
