Thats a question that's usually highly dependent on the location to be fished. I have some spots that that I like on the flood, some I like on the dropping, etc. Sunrise and sunset are great times to fish, and night time is your best bet. But the fish can be around in the middle of the day.
There's no easy answer. Goose hit the nail on the head -- get out there and fish whenever you can , sometimes tide/time doesn't matter, the fish and bait are just there, especially this time of year. Trial and error will tell you which time and tides are best for the areas you fish |
My theory is : Fish whenever you have the opportunity, that is the best time. I have found spots that I thought would be only on the bite at high catch at or near near low, and vice-versa, for one example.
I agree with the comments by Goose and Matoonoc, right now, just get out there and start gaining experience. |
