Sweet JEEP,

I am not into the Rock Crawling but have owned three different generations over the years, CJ,YJ & TJ , Great beach 4x4's, I wouldn't leave home to fish anywhere without it...

Ain't that the truth,I can remember years ago cruising with the rag-top off down through the club district of Wildwood,NJ at like 3AM and had three young ladies just jump over the roll-bars and into the JEEP at a Stop Light - What A Night :lm:

Nice, but where are the rod racks?

gone fishin 03-05-2008 11:23 PM

:tm:Nice ride - with all that modification you could own a Escalade or two. It's a Jeep thing - you wouldn't understand unless you own one!:tm:

BIG TIM 03-06-2008 10:39 AM

Glad ya'all like it! I spent alot a time money and busted knuckles buildin the sob, but, its been a labor of love.

As far as MPG it gets around 12 on the hiway and about 8 around town... It stays parked alot.:uhuh:

The rod rack mounts on the upper part of the rollcage. the rods stand up in the back. (I usually have the back seat out).

Swimmer 03-06-2008 11:48 AM

I bought a 59 CJ (much to my dismay) with no engine and blown 5:88 gears front/rear. The previous owners which were numerous put a 455 pontiac engine in it. I put changed things around and replace what was there with 3:73 gears and built a 350 that had about 400 h.p.
Never registered it because I thought it was a death trap. Sold the engine for good money, and sold the jeep seperately to a young kid in Taunton and his grandfather.

ThrowingTimber 03-07-2008 01:17 PM

It needs more mudd on it!!! :D Thing of beauty though!
