Got the idea from this one while looking at a gibbs deep diver that i've got tons of fish on.... She's about 4.5" long. Nothing earth shattering but damn does she have a nice swim. Thinking of trying another version that has more of a cigar shaped tail for even more of a tail kick. Figure she'll be lethal down here in CT with smaller bait present. Gonna mess around with some other lips/weighting. Right now there is no belly weight and she's coming in at 1oz.

just spun another 3. had some cedar hearts left from my property in ny. Man does that smell good. Also going to try some thinner tails.... will post my findings... Mike CC, I know at plugfest you had a jig. The one problem that I was having is cutting the lip. I can get through a 9" needle no problem but drilling through a 5" swimmer is killing me. :realmad:
