Damn Flies

hey guys,

I'm going to be starting aquiring some new flies for the season, anyone have any suggestions to supplement my decievers, clousers and poppers.

Cheers :cheers2:

Find a copy of Stripers and Streamers by Ray Bondorew. Great fly book, you'll learn a lot I'm sure.

Worm Fly

Don't forget to have a few cinder worms for those mid May to June full moon nights if you have access to fishing salt ponds

the house im moving to down on the cape is right next to follins pond, i believe that it is a brackish pond.

Cinder

Here is one of maybe 5 patterns I have seen.. I use rabbit dyed red, red orange or light pink & Cork or some type of float material and then a blunt almost a guggler look to push, it needs to have erratic "swim". When you use rabbit the profile when wet is about 70% less, I have found color can matter when it is light out, at night it's all about swim action and profile. Last year I even made a "Jointed fly", and that swam erratic. I will try and throw up a few more cinder patter if I can find them. cb
