Milling logs

Sort of off the topic of plugs but if I am successful in my quest then I can turn out lots of plugs!!

I am looking for someone to mill two trees on my property in Bourne, MA. Anyone know of an outfit with a portable bandmill?

There is a saw mill in Falmouth off of Thomas Landers Road. He could likely handle them, but you need to be sure there are no nails in them or you will be paying to resharpen/replace some bigass sawblades. You also need to be ready and able to store the wood 2-5 years (first outdoors then indoors) to let it dry. What sort of trees? I'd guess it is uneconomical to mill your own unless they are valuable wood to start (such as Black Walnut).

Semi-related, but WAY off topic. I've seen some guys online mill their own logs using jigs and BIG @$$ chain saws.

You can find portable saw mills pretty easy on-line or at county fairs. I know this is a little deeper than what was posted about milling, but it is surprisingly inexpensive to tow the saw mills around and mill wood off of different properties.
