trouble with posting a reply
 

I was just wondering why my replies to this forum are not showing up. After submitting my reply I get a message saying it will be reviewed by a moderator, but I don't see it , even after a few hours. It's happened more than once, so am I doing something wrong?
I've been a member for a few years, don't post very often, but would like to chime in once in a while.

Bob - no problem. When someone has very low total posts sometimes the system will filter your messages out thinking it is spam. Most spammers log in and try a couple posts and get rejected - this sometimes catches people like you really trying to post and not spamming. I just enabled the post. Thanks!

Thanks for the explaination John. I very rarely post comments and my last few attempts to do so were futile. Sometimes it takes me a while to put my thoughts into words. I'll keep trying. Still haven't seen my posts from last week and this morning. I'll keep trying because I like this site and would like to become more than just a "lurker"

I've seen posts disappear and reappear a few days later too. I thought it was part of the April fool's day weirdness.
