have you seen this pencil?
 

found this pencil in the surf a couple years ago, threw some new hooks on it and its worked great - the finish is a metallic mackeral that looks awesome although this ones getting beat up. it's not wood it's plastic ive never seen one anywhere - anyone recognize this?

What you have there is an early 80's vintage Cotton Cordell Pencil in mackerel. Great plug. We load them and they work better.

wow that old huh, no where makes them anymore? how do you load one up?

Oh they still make them but not in that style pattern, You load them with bird shot. Stifftip who posts here is a master at that and does mine for me.

better to load the smaller one then fish the bigger one as the 2 ox one stinks but the smaller one, loaded and unloaded are deadly....stilll
