First casts of the year....

Just finished cleaning up a Daiwa Millionaire CV-Z 253 that a friend handed off to me. (He doesn't take care of his gear if it isn't fly gear.)
Headed out to Redd's Pond to see if this reel is going to fit in the arenal (and to see how uneducated my thumb is....)

Squibb, you're in a good spot for early schoolie action... you tell us!
I'll be up your way soon enough to go after some schoolies in a certain river

Squibby17 04-23-2008 02:44 PM

I remember getting my first schoolie in May last year in the annisquam after leaving a doctors appointment and putting off going back to work for a half hour. :hidin:

This was before i lived up here so maybe I'll get them earlier. I think its safe to exchange info on schoolies as we will all be getting the itch.

The Dad Fisherman 04-23-2008 02:59 PM

There are no schoolies in Glostah

Rockport24 04-23-2008 03:58 PM

no, there are ONLY schoolies in Gloucester, no big fish at all.
