even more grumpage (with verizon)
 

well to make a long story shorter..
during the past year my telephone number
was always being called and they are asking for a company

i always tell them sorry the number has been re-assigned
..... on and on it goes... til now each month passing i am
getting more and more pissed off...

Finally yesterday the straw that broke the camels back

i get a call from Google... about advertising and all that jazzz
and how my business has just got a review on their site...

so i quickly punch in the URL on the ole PC :cputin:

and Voila :point: there's my number supplied for a business
the same one everyones calling for...
then i look in the march 2008 super pages...
and there it is AGAIN...
so i'm sayin WTF :splat::af:

so i call up verizon customer service to change my number
...and she says well that'll be a charge of $13.50
and i said : no it won't...i want it free because you assigned me a number that everyone's reading in
your phone book and on the internet as a business.

she puts me on hold now..
then returns to ask:

ARE you sure it's in the yellow pages?

i said well, YES .....i'm looking at it right now
don't you have a copy of the yellow pages
in your office...? i inquire? :huh:

Ummm , NO sorry, i don't... she replies..... :doh:

see my dog simply hates the telephone ringing
and comes literally unglued every time it rings...
she's just out of the hospital from a major surgery
and has to be kept extremely quiet, calm ,
and resting peacefully

all these yahoo's calling my house and hanging up
cannot continue... it's OVER ....i want a new number ...
I explain..
so friday, i'll have a new number - free. :lasso: ___:kewl:
