Haven't seen her on any NESN Sox broadcasts this year.

Left after her contract expired to be closer to family in NJ is my understanding...

I'm with you. I like Italian women, and she was pretty good at what she did with the Sox. I'll miss her, but I'll give the new chick a chance to win me over. It's too bad they can't find a really cute local gal to do the job. It would be nice to have someone who has real passion for the local sports teams and isn't just there to say what they are told to say.

Girls like Watney are a dime a dozen. Not that she isn't really, really hot, but she's not in the same league as Erin Andrews from ESPN. Andrews is head and shoulders above any sideline reporter on any station.

I think if NESN was going for a "looks alone" reporter - and that's what Heidi is - then they should have gone for an over-the-top hottie.
If I want to watch bimbos, there's no shortage of them on the air.

I hate to break it to you but I'm pretty sure Hazel Mea doesn't understand the sport either....she just "Presents" it in an enjoyable fashion

Tina knows the game pretty well. She grew up a fan of sports, but not Boston sports. The players on the team really liked her according to an article I read. And, if that's not good enough, she used to host a fishing show in Jersey, I think.

As for Hazel May, she's from Toronto and knows a lot about hockey, but not much else. In fact, I think she used to play goalie (without a mask).
