My Trend protection from Best Buy is about to expire and I was looking for suggestions for anti virus,spyware, firewall et al.Thanks in advance.

I've had good luck with Avast and it's free to boot :hihi:

AdAware and Spybot seem both to be good for spyware, although there are still some malware out there that will require a rebuild. Happened to my work laptop last year :cens:

I agree with Spence. I also don't think Symantec at 9.95 a year is worth the price.

zone alarm is a good firewall.

If you have Comcast the McAfee is free, if not then what Spence said.
