My point is simply that the news media locally is playing it up to the point you would think he has died?!?!?! The guy is after all....what....80 years old? He is bound to have a "health scare" or two!!! I hope he has a full recovery....he never did anything to me so I wish him well. I do think the media has more important things to talk about....15 full minutes on the news about this???? There was a cyclone, a massive earthquake that combined might have killed over 200,000 people and they talk about that in passing??????

I don't wish the guy any harm either, but the continual banner across the bottom of channel 4 while watching golf yesterday was a bit much. And then the play by play by "Mike I wanabe a Kennedy", Barnicle, was a little over the top. Barnicle bought a house inside the block in Hyannis that is called the compound just to be close. It was said that was (his address) the only thing that saved him from ruin after the plajarism scandal a few years ago at the Globe. Remember the black female reporter was banished for plajarism by the Globe, and Barnicle was just kind of castoff for awhile.

Really though we should have some respect, this is the same guy who invented Vodka tenting as a family bonding adventure on the rivers of Maine.

Growing up as a kid in the 60s being Italian and more specific Sicilian, people stereotyped you or your family as being mafia or criminals when fact , most all are hard working, law abiding, religious, family oriented people.

Granted, Teddy has given us good reasons to not like him.

But the fact of the matter is, he's spent pretty much his entire life passionately working for the American people.
