Van Staal Pliers
Van Staal Pliers
I am in the market to buy a pair and I have a question other than 50 bucks and 1 inch, what is the difference between the 6 and 7 inch? is the 7 inch worth the extra money? |
Buy the 7 inch....more versatile. You might find the 6's a tad small!
7" has a little more leverage if you need to cut a hook.
i own the 6inch and wished i had bought the 7....but i do like that the 6inch is real small and fits in my hand almost perfectly.
another vote for the 7".
another for 7"
more comfortable in the hand, better leverage |
Is there any advantage to buying an expensive aluminum pair or a titanium pair?
Definitely go with the 7"
another vote for the 7 "
Im not in the market for pliers but I gotta ask how much are the Van Staal's?
WOW!!
get the 7's. my wife bought me the 6's as a gift and I exchanged them. the 6's fit weird in my hand and the cutter always ended up right at the webbing between my thumb and index finger, felt dangerous.
what the hell, get both.
One for each side when someone snaps a pic :hidin: |
i agree go with the 7 inch they feel much better to me than the six inch but i have big hands lol:tm:
I've had a pair of 7" for three years, love 'em.
Al |
not to beat a dead horse but...... 7's
size does matter.:rotf3:
7" but I wouldn't try to cut a hook I did that and one of the cutters broke off thats 30.00
6.5" Stainless Pair - they get the job done for half the price, just treat them nice.....;)
Wow thanks everyone, I will go with the 7 inch
