Based on the stats from last night, he was the first lefty to throw a no-hitter in the past 50 years (it may be a team stat, nit a league stat). In any case, it's a great stat to have this early in his career.

It is a team stat. Mark Burhle threw one last year, I think and Randy Johnson threw a perfect game a few years ago along with a no-no when he was with Seattle. Still a great accomplishment for Lester. He's only 24 years old.
