Hook guard issues

Re the plug hook guards:

They keep falling out of the belly of the plugs, especially after the lure has gone through the wringer of catching a couple of fish. Numbskull's hand made plugs are better than most, but not 100% re this problem. Glue?

You mean belly grommets? Make hole smaller so they press in is my advise, but my plugs don't catch as good as G.'s do so i would just live with the minor inconvenience.

That's just the way plugs puke when they don't like the eelfisherman who owns them.

If you are refering to the belly grommets; Try inserting them when you epoxy the plug. I start the epoxying with a dab to the belly hole. Insert the grommet and continue with the application. It works well.
