VErizon DSL is the absolute worst
 

...internet service I have ever had. This pos company has our internet go down every time a little rain comes through downtown hyannis. Each and every time I have to call the line and the minute the guy does the line test we are back up and running. Then they tell you there was no problem, then they bug the sheit out of you telling you it something in your house. When you tell them that they installed the system so come fix it they say they have to diagnose from the computer center in fn india or wherever. Blah blah blah for an hour just to have nothing done in the end. Then the same bs the next time it rains. Another wasted afterrnoon...God I hate this company and the honey is getting told tonight...its over. I want comcast installed and I want it now. Verizon DSL Sucks.

i am a tech for verizon, unfortunately they are pumping all their resources into fios.. and i doubt the cape is on their radar ..

sorry.. its probably a simple fix.. but they don't have the manpower available to put on it.. they shipped guys out of hyannis to ri, where fios is going nuts..

all you can do is complain to the dte.. or switch companies..

I have had Verizon dsl for the last at least 5 years..Never had a problem...knock on wood..But I am in an entirely different area..South Shore,Ma..:hidin:

I had DSL and had the same probs as you BP, I was about to cancel but they talked me into trying FIOS. I have not had any trouble since. FIOS rocks.

I have heard good things about FIOS but am not willing to wait any longer. Told Wendy get rid of Verizon and get us comcast ASAP. Decision made.

same here....no problems....but will be getting a new TV and puter soon, so will be switching to FIOS
