I grew up summering in N. Truro on the bay and my family still has a cottage there. I was down with my family for a weekend a couple weeks back and saw something I had never seen before...

Standing on our beach on the bay, a couple of pogies swam by. One was injured and I grabbed it to live line from the beach...

As a kid we sometimes had squid, in the fall we always have peanuts, but I had never before seen adult pogies there. Weird...

Maybe they were lost.

I snagged one with a darter about a week ago in MV. The guy I was with almost didn't know what it was I kept laughing at him.
