12inch sluggos rigged and unrigged
 

Just got back from getting worms and finally saw the 12 inchers.

boy are they expensive 20 bucks for 3 rigged and 16 or 17 for the unrigged.

i said to the guy it's just as easy rigging them yourself. he said "who wants to do that" i said.... uh... me.

i just cant justify that with bluefish around

i got the 12 inchers for 12.99, and have been fortunate to not bet blued yet, but i probably jinxed myself.

A pack of 10" hogys with one rigged and 2 spares is about 9 bucks. Plus the tandem rig is REUSABLE and is made of 80 lb. jinkai fluoro, not 50 lb. dacron and molded in like the slugo and has to be thrown away. Swims much better too. The 14" size comes with one rigged and one spare, costs about $11. 4 10" hogys unrigged are about 8 bucks. 3 unrigged 14" hogys are about 10 bucks.

I second this. The tandem rig is reusable so after you have a couple you can buy unrigged to save money. The action is a lot better on Hogy's and they are tougher too. I have a few Hogy's that have lasted through multiple bass and are still going strong. I have not had that kind of luck on Sluggos at all.
