Hows the skiff coming along? Got an itch for Monomoy.

Sauerkraut tagged a 40 something pounder at Wasque surfcasting a few years ago. He tags fish all the time. Well anyway, a year to the day about a 100 feet from where he caught that fish he gets another 40 plus pounder with a tag. He cuts it off, releases the fish and sends it in.

Guess what? It was the same exact fish he caught and tagged the year before. What's that tell you?

See ya soon Bob!

I tagged a bunch years ago on chapin as well ,only ever got one back..it was caught 3 days later on the same beach..remember Carl and the dennis crew? your friend that you caught half way through a cast with your camera...forgot his name...that pic was a classic...hung on the wall at your harwich house.

That tells me the fish migrated at least 100 feet. :wavey: Might be a slow Polish fish.

Actually that's pretty cool
