Tanker in Chatham Harbor
I took my daughter and her boyfriend to Chatham to see the lighthouse and stop off at the fish pier and see what was being off loaded. We noticed a smaller looking tanker like ship (at forst I thought it was a ferry) pull in, blow its horn a few times, turn around and it looked like it anchored somewhere between the lighthouse and the Chatham Bars Inn. Saw a couple boats speed out to it. It was just seemed a little out of the ordinary. Does anyone know what the deal was with it?

their just dredgeing the channel in pleasent bay so the larger fishing boats can get out...

Thanks. The fact that it was a dredge would probably explain what looked like a lot of churning or turbulent water around the thing.

The inside of the boat is one big empty fish tank..it sucks up the sand/water filling the inside, then steams outside the break where upon it opens the bottom of the ship and everything gets dumped ..goes back in and starts all over again.
