What's up for the weekend? Where's Da Fish?

I think this weekend will be a little freshwater fishing with junior but at least one Oh Dark Thirty excursions.

So what's up for the weekend?

Family and work. We have our biggest event of the year coming up at work, so will probably hang up the rods until the August new moon. Haven't been catching anything decent in weeks from the surf, so a hiatus is in order for me. Of course this is not due to a lack of fish or effort. My mojo seems to have left the building, albeit temporarily.I hope.

Memorial service today for Angie's Mom. Her family all weekend.

To busy to take one of my yearly road trips.

Surf fishing around Rye Beach, New hampshire. It's usually pretty good. I'll report back Monday.

trying to get out tonight for an over nighter but with:tm: all the storm damage around here I maybe working all night instead.

Hopefully wet a line tonight, then tomorrow I have some yard work that needs to get done. Maybe some more fishing.

Sunday bringing the boy to summer camp for the week......and since there just happens to be 2 lakes there, I guess I'll have to bring my freshwater stuff :D

Unfor. don't think I'll be hitting the water this weekend, doing some odds/ends around the house and chillin' with my daughters as the wife is working all weekend.

:wid: gonne try to escape for a couple hours chunking mackerel in the north river at the only place i have ever pulled a keeper.

:lasso:maybe a sunrise run to the canal to throw some tin at the bluefish <yum>
:spin:and a quick stop on the return at billington for some smallmouth from shore.

:doh:a quick drive to the dump with the junk thats been piling up.
:hf1:side trip to Belsan's for some hooks -n rings with a stop at the packie for some dogs and sam summer for game time.

Trying to get out after work for a few hours tonight and try a few spots new to me. Riding mountain bikes tomorrow morning with some buddies and doing stuff around the yard. Sunday might have to go into work

Live eeling & air temp. bourbon tonight off Deer I. Softball tomorrow morning.

Big weekend to tie up loose ends. Hip replaced wed AM so i am stressed to the max trying to get everything in order before that.

canal trip
 

Would do an early night trip to canal tonight except I'd be stuck
in Friday rush to cape. So I will drown some eels on Saturday
night in canal for a few hours. PM if you will be on canal Sat. nite.
Darkness and eels=winning combo.

No fishing, I am hangin' with my 3 year old daughter while the wife takes our son to Cub Scout camp.

going to maine for two week vaca.

Hopefully wetting a line tomorrow night - first weekend in a long time that is not totally booked up (at least, as free as can be with three young kids at home and a houseguest next week!)
This time I'll endeavor to keep the blasted hooks out of my casting finger!

fishing with sfoley78 tomorrow...hopefully on a boat, but if not, I'll be at the old standby.
