safety

anyone who has fished with me will attest to my boat handling skills. I always error on the side of safety. The water surrounding my boat and the 2 other boats around me was a calm lulling sea. No breakers within a 150ft cast. I have raced to Bermuda 5 times, Long Island, more than I can count, Nova Scoti, Maine. San Deigo and even Greece when I was a kid.

I have attended more safety at sea seminars and studied many safety books. I knew port and starboard before I knew left and right.
Its in my blood. I am on my boat nearly everyday and this is the 1st time I have rolled a fishing boat. I have capsized sailboats from 8-40' and it is not fun no matter how big the boat is. This was by far the scariest experience of my life, however, I will be in the same spot September 1st when the new Parker arrives.
