Heard the CG report a PIW while at the canyon

While fishing a few days ago I heard a CG announcement of a Person In the Water (PIW) about 20 to 25 miles away from us and heard the rescue helo but then never heard the outcome. Did anyone hear anything?
The current is surprisingly fast out there (like 3 knots) and being in the water would be a nightmare to find anyone without a PLB on your person.
