fishing essentials

was wondering what complete fishing setups and gear you use fishing the canal and also surf fishing. i use a v.s. 150 lami arra 132 1 ,suffix braid 50# , 40# flouro leader. both beach and canal, pencils and spro jigs, and ronzis also my own lead heads with hogys for canal, my best year ever out of 17 years. beach mostly pluggin r.m.smiths,gibbs pencils, hogys, needles, bombers, and eels. precision pak bag,a.s. belt ranger waders or hodgeman, kayak top for a dry top from #^&#^&#^&#^&s works great and was only 25.00. and pliers. like to travel light as possible. just wondering the differences of everybodys gear and must haves.

Hardbait,

Seems like a nice kit. I am off to fish RI this weekend. My small kit will be a xcra1322-2 with Newell P220F, Penn 145, Abu 7500. Plugs and tins from SuperStrike, Afterhours, Pt Jude, bucktails.
