Surf-Hunt is on tonight

***YOURE AN OLDER MEMBER YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO NAME LOCATIONS. ***

I did this route Friday, Sat and Sunday last week.
Resulted in sore muscles and a few scratches and many lost pieces of gear.

I can pick you up or meet you on the way.
Cell: 401-742-4191
Bus. 401-822-2513 (password --- fishing and the gatekeeper will let you in)

I am so excited!!! Big fish, little fish, no fish, I DONT CARE.

Please, NO drugs/alcohol... These spots are dangerous.

Flaptail 08-15-2008 09:03 AM

Don't forget to call your insurance company!

ThrowingTimber 08-15-2008 09:48 AM

I edited your post parker. As an older member you should know better.

What you see as a simple listing or innocent locations.. Is not to the guys and gals who are out pounding these areas be it nightly or a few nights a week.

While it is understandable that you would like to hook up and fish with other members, posting an intin. such as you have is not fair to the folks who are working very hard for fish in the areas you've mentioned. Reflect on that for a moment..

If you have any issue with any of the why or the how I edited your post. Pm me I'll give you my home phone number and we can discuss it. I dont feel like engaging in a back on forth with you online.

A better idea would have been, will be out tonight anyone going to be out pm me we can make plans to meet.

Good move Vic, especially considering the shoreline :)

RIJIMMY 08-15-2008 12:36 PM

anyone point me to the "rules"?

I never knew mentioning where you were going to fish was a problem? I thought a problem was when you mentioned where you "caught" fish?

spence 08-15-2008 12:43 PM

Generally speaking that's the case, although naming spots that have limited or private access is usually shunned upon.

Vic was a little preachy though :tooth:

RIJIMMY 08-15-2008 12:44 PM

a little?

1dozenraw 08-15-2008 12:44 PM

I wondered how long it would take to edit that. In my mind, it doesn't matter whether your putting your waders on or taking them off, it's too specific and too much info to not be spot burning. Not helpful. I went to two spots in the last two days and the crowds kept me from even taking the rod out of the holder. Nice job TT. Thanks.

1dozenraw 08-15-2008 12:45 PM

The reverend Vic.... say amen.

my bad jimmy.

You always chime in with the worst feedback in these situations..

Its like youre this lurker who just waits for information.. seriously its tired. Have an issue with it pm me we can talk like grown men :)

RIJIMMY 08-15-2008 03:10 PM

actually I bought a boat because I can afford one.

I dont appreciate the personal attack, but you'll be judged by others based on your behavior, I don't need to reply. This is hardly the conduct I expect from a moderator. You participate in the very behavior you're here to stop.

ThrowingTimber 08-15-2008 03:12 PM

Youre right jim.

:agree:

My bad dude

Nebe 08-15-2008 03:34 PM

go to your room Throwing Timber!!! no dinner!!!!

RIJimmy.. go tell his mom your sorry or no more friday show and tell. :rtfm:

ThrowingTimber 08-15-2008 03:42 PM

Its hard enough to be the dude who has to swing the hammer, now imagine it with a crew of 3 or 4 who are judging the hammer swing for style points....

I was wrong to attack jim I can admit it. :lama:

BassDawg 08-15-2008 03:58 PM

good move on the editing though, Vic!

specific spots, time, tide, and the like are
just no good for the rest of us surfrats who
prefer to guard our honey holes via the
use of a pm for the SPOT SPECIFIC info........

i am quite sure that P23 meant no harm, yet
someone had to do the Moderation Thang,,,,,,,,

and why NOT TTimber??

Well Done, eet's a tuff job
keeping us surfidiots reigned in!!
:bl: :bl: :bl: :bl:

jim sylvester 08-15-2008 04:12 PM

I think Vic did the right thing

way too specific on spots, wheter he is fishing or is has caught fish there

piemma 08-15-2008 04:14 PM

I do too. I was just trying to lighten the mood.:cheers2:

Nebe 08-15-2008 04:34 PM

spence 08-15-2008 04:55 PM

Vic did the right thing to edit the initial post, but the follow was over the top.
