Bluefish everywhere........

Not many market bass being caught either. A comm. told me he got $8.00 a pound for two fish last week......

alot of really big blues too... took an 18# last night along with a few 10's and smaller not too bad. hopefully i can find some the striped-ones tonite

Quota is less then 50% filled.

Effects of over fishing are comming home to roost.

8 bucks, wow. most I have gotten is 4. I am marking plenty of fish getting them to eat a whole nother deal. It is frustrating for sure this year but I am hopeful things will turn around.

Went out this morning no bass just blues chomping on my eels.

pretty sure they are north from where most guys are fishing right now. very consistent here in boston, via boat, for me. alot of fish were held up around duxbury i think, and now they are moving into boston and points north. this next week is going to be killer up here, as long as weather doesnt screw it up.
i bet it will go over 100k lbs for this week, come tuesday.
all i know is i am making 4 times more money in 2 hours of doing what i love to do than spending 12 hours at a %$%$%$%$ job. i love it.

No lie, My august from the surf has been better than last fall was for me... multiple keepers the last 4 nights, with bass up to the mid 20's... one night brought 6 solid keepers, with the exception of tonight which brought just one 30" bass... and suprisingly, I have not caught ONE SINGLE BLUE in 2008 from the surf... at this rate, fall can wait!!! Wish I had someone that would buy them, but I dont have a comm. license, but I would rather let them go than sell them... good luck guys...
