1000 feet of line.

Rock is that the one that pee's through it's skin?

Its a shame that the shark will go to waste. If you can't eat it then release it!

he explained pretty much the story how it went down for us.

check out the video at the end of the pictures.

What a shame. You can't eat it. and yes they piss through their skin. That's pretty depressing actually.

they convert ammonia to urea and when they die it turns back into ammonia.

as with any fish the faster you end the fight and bleed sharks the better the meat is.

I ate it.
Sorry.

RIROCKHOUND 08-19-2008 12:48 PM

2 Problems I have.
1. I dont know anyone who has eaten one and enjoyed it. They are 99% of the time dumped after weighing
2. 1000feet of line? I had a 350lb class last year that fought as hard as any blueshark I've ever caught and she did not pull more than 100yds on any runs, 30lb class gear....

MrHunters 08-19-2008 02:04 PM

on 50w our 10 foot blue gave up 250 yards max total..
However he did pretty much do whatever he wanted the entire time on full drag. Shear weight, there was no muscling him around. It was pretty awsome. And it was even more awsome to see him swim away! which is why it's pretty depressing that that might be the same fish. and if not THE fish... a relative one which is just the same
