This was literally right around the corner from where I live (1/4 mile) I take this road home on the hot days on the bike as it's a nice cool ride.

I heard the medflite and all the sirens but didn't hear what happened til yesterday. WTF I hope she's ok. Innocent hike in the woods with her dad. :smash:

I saw the picture in today's paper. Who would do such a thing to another human being? Horrible.

did they find the projectile?

nothing yet that I know of. I think it was kids and a slingshot. I think the howling back and forth sounded like a wolf or something to them and they shot in that direction.

Feel so bad for the girl and her father. Shouldn't have to go through that.

Sad, but at least they believe no permanent damage will come of it besides the scar and memory. I am sure some teen will brag to the wrong person and get caught.
