Leatherback turtles caution

I have seen two dead ones this summer off Newport. One had been dead for a long time the other was very fresh. It was sad to see them.

I watched a sea turtle cruising around the pier this week. It was only a small guy though , maybe 2-2.5ft long.

I hear they taste better than those plovers......
