Eat Your Hearts Out Guys!

My wife Angie and I just went over to Cuttyhunk for a few days (she liked it so much she wanted to stay another night....so we did!):btu: Angie is a one of a kind wife, she loves to fish and she loves the outdoors! She especially loved Cuttyhunk and the fishing club! Most impressive was that she fished as hard core as anyone I have ever seen! Wearing her waders she trecked the mile and a half to the Southwest end of Cutty and the mile and a half back, walked the bowling ball size rock covered beaches casting plugs for stripers......and she loved it so much she did it 2 times!!! Its a ball breaking walk if any of you have done it you can back me up....the walking on the beaches of Cutty can be brutal!!! The first trip out Angie caught her first Cutty stripes! (I was so proud of her....she is just amazing!) Here are some pics!:btu: Eat your hearts out guys....she is all mine!!:bl:

Captain Russ Had Fun Too!

Captain Russ had been extolling the virtues of the BigFish 1 oz. Pencil Poppers to me, regaling me with tails of all of the 25-30 pound fish he has been taking on them around the islands......I guess he felt the need to prove it to me and so he did by boating this 30 pounder (weighed) while we were aboard!! Man!!! What a fight it was on light tackle....I had a blast just watching him! He hooked the fish and dropped it, so he circled back around and dropped the plug back in the same spot and "KABLAM!!!"....he had the same fish take the plug for good this time!!!:claps:

Very cool BF.

A lot of folks will tell me don't take her fishing.I'm glad Jane likes fishing.
She may not be as hardcore as your Angie but she truly enjoys it,you should see the look on Jane's face in the middle of a bluefish blitz!

Awesome I say!

Very cool Larry. Looks like a great time. You are a very lucky man indeed and I am very happy for you both. My wife likes to fish also but I don't think I could get her in waders and hike that long. She'll take off for an afternoon on the skiff though.

BigFish 08-30-2008 06:30 PM

Did you have to ply her with alcohol??:rotf2: Just kidding...I see the beer bottle! At least she goes out...and good for you!:uhuh:

I have pics on the comp somewhere from last year but I can't find them!

We'll bring the digital camera tomorrow evening but lately I seem to have the ability to even repel bluefish!

Congrats on your keeper ! Mine won't walk on the beach due to she doesn't like sand. When I get in from fishing I'm accused of smelling like the outdoors(while she holds her nose). So yeah I'm jealous.

baldwin 08-31-2008 01:24 PM

She's a keepah! Please post her cell phone number!

fumifish 09-01-2008 01:45 PM

BigFish 09-01-2008 02:08 PM

No, not with the wife. However I am going to splash it tonight! I just got my socks a minute ago from my neighbor! Then going back to Cutty in 3 weeks!

tynan19 09-01-2008 02:13 PM

That is great that you guys can share an experience like that Larry. Starfish learned to jig the canal and throw plugs under the Point Jude Light this weekend.

danno1 09-01-2008 02:31 PM

Wish my wife did that...along with other things!:wall:
