I gotta say that this looks pretty convincing to me she wasn't preggo and it was her kids kid. Look at the pics of the daughter holding the baby and the mother not too interested. Maybe it's getting spun like this but for her to fly all the way to Alaska and every doc quoted says no way...

I'm not buying it, why would she do that? A teenage pregnacy is not that big a scandal - it certainly would not sink her career.

I don't understand why she would fabricate this whole thing.
It seems pretty clear the timeline for delivery would
a) be extremely dangerous for mother and child
b) puts her daughter at the facility of birth at the time of delivery

It would be practically impossible for a woman to 'hide' a full-term pregnancy.

Why hide it? It's really bizarre.

If its true, its about image.
She's pro-life and VERY adamant about abstinence only being "the way". It would completely destroy her platform.

If its NOT true, the time line before her giving birth seems very ignorant and showing she cares more about her career than her child. (Flying to two different states THEN home before giving birth? What happened to maternal instinct?)

Do you guys agree she don't look pregnant? I just don't see it in her. Typically a pregnant womans face is a little more rounded, their hair is silkier and shinier, larger topside, bigger stomach up higher. Even a 6lb kid is going to make you gain 15-25 lbs because you got the sac and the placenta/cord. The pics just don't show it. The pic of the kid I think does, look at her face in both pics.

I don't understand either why it would be hidden. Maybe she did feel it would detract from her career. I have seen more pics of the kid holding the baby than the mother...

Why not just admit the daughter is preggiers and the family will be raising the child together

This entire scam is based upon a photo in which her daughter was described as having a "baby bump". This is all the wingnuts needed to come up with their latest whacked out conspiracy theory. Never mind the fact that the "baby bump" picture was taken in March of 2006 and the baby was born in April of 2008.

Triue to character they failed again.

Like I said, abstinence only education is part of her platform. It'd be a bit hypocritical.

The odds of a 43 year old giving birth to a Down's syndrome baby are 4:1.

The odds of a teenager giving birth to one are in the millions to one range.
