Weekend forecast
 

The forecast is for very high seas, so I intend to try to go out Friday evening. I would like to stick to the upper bay to avoid some of the sloppy water that will exist south of Dutch Island.

How is the SB fishing in the upper bay? Without giving specific information, could somebody PM me with some general locations to target SB Friday night?

When is the surf supossed to start?
I'm planning on going to gansett in the kayak Friday, but not if it's to rough, i'll be on shore maybe get the beach sticker and head south.

Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. You should be OK if you are in the bay. Seas are forecast minimum 2 - 4 in the sound for the foreseeable future, until Saturday afternoon when they really whip up. All the way to 11'!
